A Customary court in Ake area of Abeokuta has officially dissolved a 3-year-old marriage between Kemi and Femi Olayiwola.

4 members of an international robbery gang suspected to be from Ghana were yesterday shot dead by police in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital. The State Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) men who carried out the operation also arrested two other members of the gang who were seriously injured during a botched attempt on a bureau de change office in Itoku, Abeokuta.

A couple yesterday abandoned their 4-year-old daughter at the Federal Medical Centre In Idi Aba area of Abeokuta and fled.

In a note they left in the pocket of the mentally challenged child, the parents said they’re no longer capable of caring for the child because of her mental problem.

The child has been taken to Ogun State-owned Stella Obasanjo Motherless Home.

In less than 72 hours from now, 7 Nigerians convicted of drug trafficking would be killed in Indonesia.

As we speak, 7 coffins with the inscription RIP and names of the convicts have been laid down ahead of the scheduled execution that will begin tomorrow, Tuesday the 28th of April 2015.

The lawyer of one of the convicts, Utomo Karim said his client, Raheem Agbaje Salami has been notified he will be executed on Tuesday before midnight.

Karim said the convicts will be called in one by one and the execution will take between 30 minutes to one hour.
